Alyse Hancock-Phillips is a dedicated and passionate music educator with a Bachelor’s in Music Education and Vocal Performance from Capital University and a Master’s in Special Education from Youngstown State University. Alyse brings a unique blend of artistic expertise and educational insight to her teaching of all students.
Having taught private voice and piano lessons for several years, Alyse has cultivated a deep connection with her students. Alyse helps students of all abilities find their voice and express themselves through music. Her teaching style is compassionate and approachable, with a natural ability to build confidence and foster creativity.
Alyse's extensive performance experience includes performing with large groups such as the Capital University Chapel Choir, the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Chorus, and the Blossom Festival Chorus. In addition, Alyse has performed with various musicians such as The Eagles, Kenny Loggins, Melissa Etheridge, and Jason Mraz. This wealth of performance knowledge allows her to provide students with practical insights into both vocal technique and stage presence.
Alyse creates a positive and encouraging environment where students can thrive thanks to her gregarious personality and nurturing approach.
